Every first Friday each month there is a Jazz Jam Session at the Maze Inn. The newspaper "Jornal do Brasil" had an article about it in the "domingo" magazine. Wolf is playing saxophone, Lennart hammond organ and many guests and musicians are invited to join in. With a veritable Babel of languages and guests ranging from student to Guru, photographers, writers, managers, stockbrokers, construction workers and caravan builders, painters, musicians, goverment workers, MAZE guests have written theses on Favela Funk, painted and photographed the scenery and the people, joined Capoeira circles or just come to chill out in the Rio de Janeiro eternal Summer. Who could imagine American rapper Snoop Dogg and a Papal emissary ending up in the same hideout where Beatles Producer George Martin recorded his Rythyms of Life and a handful of famous film directors have passed through. There have been couples on honeymoon or individuals in search of a new life.
