Pain is a common yet complex phenomenon. A paincare center is a place where physicians who specialize in the treatment of pain recognize and treat the biological, social and psychological components of pain syndromes.
A paincare center should be staffed by physicians who have the knowledge, training and experience to formulate a comprehensive treatment plan for their patients. This can range from prescribing medications, to injections, to advanced fiberoptic, radio frequency and laser procedures.
The physicians at The PainCare Center have been practicing Pain Medicine in Lancaster for over eight years. They have all received over four years of residency training in the management of pain and advanced regional anesthesia (i.e., injections). In addition to being board certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology, they have been board certified by either or both the American Board of Anesthesia subspecialty of Pain Medicine and the American Board of Pain Medicine. These are the only physician board certifications in Pain Medicine.
