- Before thesansa.com, the only dedicated community for Sansa users was in the Sansa section of the Anythingbutipod.com forum.
Shortly after he created his website, the thesansa.com admin, along with a few of his members, launched a massive spam attack on the Sansa section of Anythingbutipod.com to advertise his website. Many members were contacted publicly or privately, being asked to join a "much better" forum for the Sansa, which wasn't true then and still isn't true now. To this day, the thesansa.com admin hasn't formerly apologized to the admin of Anythingbutipod.com
