At The Web Depot we understand that at any point in time any one of our clients can host their own web site on their own equipment. For that matter, they can host their sites on any number of other hosting providers. It is because our clients have a choice that we strive to provide the highest level of service at the lowest possible cost.

The Web Depot provides our clients with a safe and carefree hosting solution. We operate multiple redundant Internet connections furnished by Sprint, UUNET and other select carriers via use of BGP4 (Border gateway Protocol). Our multiple routers are made redundant through the use of Cisco’s HSRP. Our server clusters use multiple, load-balancing hardware designed for fail over in the event of a load balancer fault. Data integrity and speed are assured by multiple Network Appliance Filers using RAID5 technology. Three back up systems are in place, one being on-site and two off-site at geographically separate data centers. All systems are monitored 24/7 by experienced NOC staff. In plain English this means your site will always be available on-line 24/7.

All our software is regularly updated and upgraded on a regular basis. Current patches and fixes are applied as soon as they are released. We use Linux on most of our servers so our clients have the highest level of security. Windows servers are also available, which are updated regularly. We offer anti-spam protection on e-mail accounts at no additional charge, and for a minimal charge anti-virus protection on e-mail accounts. We support .jsp pages, ASP.NET, FrontPage extensions, ColdFusion MX, PHP, MySQL, MS Access, SSH access, CGI-bin, blogging, streaming Real audio/video, and more! Plus we feature WebMail, and complete site management with our WebsiteOS interface. We’re never satisfied with what we currently offer and are always looking to improve our services, and most of our enhancements never cost the client a penny.
