- Thillai Engineering Works was started in 1972 by Mr. A. Thillai Natrajan , a Mechanical Engineer with over thirty years of experience in the forging Industry. Initially the company started its activities with friction screw presses and in 1980 erected two Drop hammers of 1 ton and 2 tons respectively to cater to the demanding requirements of the Industry. Since then, the company has taken great strides in assuring quality by implementing quality standards such as ISO 9001 in the year 2000’. The company is in the process of implementing TS16949 as a continuing measure to maintaining the quality of its products.
