Thunderbird Real Estate began as a single office brokerage in downtown Soquel over thirty-five years ago. The current partners, all active Realtors, began their ownership of the company on the first day of September 1989, under the leadership of managing broker, Steve Noren. Despite the jolt that hit the Bay area just 47 days later, Thunderbird worked hard, continuing to thrive and grow, and established a dominant presence early in the 1990's as a consistently award winning, highly productive, unyieldingly independent office. Today we are thirty-five full time Real Estate professionals and three full time staff members.
Our business philosophy embraces forward momentum, and we continue hold our position in the vanguard of an ever changing industry. In 1994, we made the move to our more central location in Capitola on Clares Street, near 41st Avenue, in the Brown Ranch Marketplace. Since Realtors and their clients are dependent upon the swift communication of information, we set a goal to establish ourselves as the first Real Estate Office in the state of California to have our listings up on the World Wide Web, and achieved it.
The convenience and high visibility of this new location, plus our fresh, appealing office suites and unique approach to Real Estate resulted in approval from the community. For the past two years in a row, the annual popular Good Times vote awarded Thunderbird "Best Real Estate Office" in Santa Cruz County. This is the award we are proudest of. We at Thunderbird Real Estate work hard and do our best, both as individuals and as a team, to maintain high standards in a highly competitive, service oriented profession that requires endurance and commitment. The greatest reward for us is receiving the respect of the community we serve.
