Timberline District - Roundtable - Roundtable Attendance - News

Description

The mission of the Boy Scouts of America is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law.

Scouts in Denver and the surrounding communities are served by the Denver Area Council. Since this is such a large area to cover, it is broken into smaller segments. The Timberline District serves a 2650 square mile area in southern Jefferson County and Park County including Lakewood, Littleton, and the mountain communities of Morrison, Evergreen, Conifer, Bailey, and Fairplay.

There are several Scouting Units in the Timberline District. They encompass numerous Cub Scout Packs, Boy Scout Troops, Venturing Crews, and Exploring Posts. These units are made up of both youth and adult members. The adult volunteers are encouraged to guide the youth through the Scouting program.
