He recently moved to the area and shops at my store. He has a boyish face, with blue eyes and a sweet shy smile. He came through my line, and I thought it was cute that he was practically speechless. There was no patter, no lines dropped – just this thunderstruck look on his face. I called him on the lack of patter – he said he just wasn’t good at that kind of thing. A few days later I needed to go by the store. He was there in line.
