edit Description
TFO Background
Tobacco-Free Ohio (TFO) is a statewide organization dedicated to reducing tobacco use among Ohioans. Specifically, TFO strives to eliminate individuals’ exposure to the health hazards of secondhand smoke in public places.
TFO works through a system of four Regional Policy Coordinators around the state who serve with those interested in tobacco prevention and control. They are located in Cleveland, Toledo, Dayton and Marietta, Ohio.
TFO works with these organizations and coalitions to provide technical assistance on tobacco issues, presentations to businesses or schools on the dangers of secondhand smoke, policy and campaign strategy for clean indoor air legislation, as well as coalition building materials.
