- The OpenFiction Project represents the conjunction of my two main professional interests--writing and open educational resources. I began teaching fiction after completing my MFA in Creative Writing at Emerson College. Through that school's continuing education program, I first taught traditional classes, then designed and developed a distance learning introductory fiction class. This site contains the full set of materials I developed for that class.
