Rather, the TowerSearch technology is the most basic technology available: human trust. We rely on website owners to be honest with their listings, and then we leave the decision of which websites are the best up to the individual surfers. This way, we get a truly democratic Internet, not prone to complex linking schemes or pages optimized for machines. Only the best pages are presented to users (as judged by users)
In order to help new websites succeed, we offer web users new submissions and ask them to take the time to let us know just how well the new submission met their needs. The results are fantastic.
The Company
TowerSearch was founded in 2002 with the goal of bucking the current trend of pay per click search engines which were ratcheting up the marketing budgets of website owners. Since that time we have gone through a lot of changes. Initially, TowerSearch only accepted paid submissions, but now we accept free submissions for all website owners.
