Travel Easy RV was opened in the fall of 1994 with two salesmen and one technician. To build up our inventory we drove around the area looking for campers to buy. Our office was a Trailer and the service center was a Pole Barn.
The business grew with the help of consignments and preowned units. Within a year, Travel Easy RV was incorporated and was able to receive bank financing. Jones took on the Newmar line, which approved to be a very nice decision. He also went to the factories and hand picked the other lines of Motorhomes and Travel Trails which he sells.
His wife Laura joined him in 2001 after selling her printing business. Travel Easy RV truly became a family owned and operated RV dealership. After 10 years, twenty plus employees and hundreds of Recreational vehicles sold, Jones still loves the idea of selling a dream.
