- Travelex is probably the worst place you would ever want to exchance your foreign currency. After four negative experiences there, I'm convinced they are the world's worst foreign exchange merchants. They have given me the wrong money, the wrong currency (!) and it has been the worst customer service I could ever imagine. They never open on time and their website gives the wrong information. The woman behind the desk even swore at me. They are simply not worth the effort to do business with.
