Description
The Topical Bird Gardens are situated in the village of Desford in west Leicestershire, just ten minutes off the M1. In about five acres of land, this family run organisation caters for several hundred tropical birds of over 70 different species. It is open to the public from early spring to late autumn.

There's a "hands-on" area where free-to-fly birds will come and sit with you, talk to you, and ask for your food! Beware that some can nip you though!
