- In 1984 Ken and Pat Dekok had a dream to start a new lawn fertilization and weed control company. Ken and Pat wanted the company to give its customers a great service at a fair price without the hassle of the large lawn companies. They also wanted this company to service it's customers honestly and with integrity. So after planning and lots of prayer Turf Care was started in the fall of 1984. Turf Care would start out as a liquid fertilization program.
