Title
Turtle Island Gallery Haida Native Painting Sculpture Masks and Jewellery
Description
Georgette Johnson has been the proud owner and operator of Turtle Island Gallery for the past ten years. Located in the Heart of Kelowna's arts and cultural district the Gallery features artwork created by the Haida, Kwaguilth, Tsimshian, Coast Salish and various other tribes of B.C. as well Metis, Cree and Ojibwe artists' works from across Canada.
The Gallery has a stunning selection of Northwest Coast wood carvings including ceremonial masks, totem poles, talking sticks, plaques, and bentwood style boxes. You will also discover pieces carved of argillite and soapstone. And, if you are into jewellery the exquisite hand carved gold and silver bracelets, rings, earrings and pendants are a must see.
For those into the more one dimensional style of art, we have original paintings and limited edition prints both contemporary and traditional.
