Tutor/Mentor Institute

< Daniel Bassill

I've started a wiki to share all of the information of the Tutor/Mentor Connection. Find it here

I've also contributed to a Wikispace hosted by the Pew Foundation for Civic Change. You can view it here

Today (5/30/07) I've launched a Business School Connection Wikispace, intended to create a collaboration amoung business school students which unleashes their talent to create resources for volunteer based tutor/mentor programs. Visit it at http://boardfellow.wikispaces.com/

In addition we've began using a concept mapping tool to diagram the strategies of the Tutor/Mentor Connection. I encourage network weavers to view this and consider using tools like this to diagram their own strategies. Hi Daniel, these look good, maybe you might want to add them to WikiIndex.org as well? Also, what do you envision for this page, I am curious! :-) Best, MarkDilley

Hi Mark, I hope that this page draws people who are interested in this topic to the Tutor/Mentor Institute wiki, or to other pages I've referenced, where they can get information, give information, or volunteer time, talent, or even dollars to help us build the tutor/mentor strategy, and support the growth of individual programs in many locations.

So far the Wiki and my other web pages are an poor attempt to visualize what I'm doing. I've started using cmap to illustrate these concepts visually. I've posted a link in my links pool so you can look at this.

Sounds good, I will check them out. MarkDilley
