- We are a ministry of Grace Evangelical Free Church that seeks to recapture the spirit of the ancient church found in Acts 2:42 (NET) - “They were devoting themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.” This verse sums up the experience of the first Christian converts after Peter’s sermon at the temple in Jerusalem. (Acts 2:14-41) Two42 began with a small group of people who spent the summer of 2005 sharing meals, fellowship, and prayer. Our desire is to follow God wholly, with the ideas of Acts 2:42 as our starting point. Those ideas are expressed as Word, Community, Bread, and Prayer.
