UC Riverside Extension is the continuing education branch of the University of California, Riverside. For more than 45 years UC Riverside Extension has provided educational opportunities to people of all ages – with or without a college degree – seeking professional advancement, personal fulfillment or a new career.
An additional 4,000 international students from more than 100 different countries attend classes offered by UC Riverside Extension's International Education Programs. Its Intensive English Program is ranked as one of the five largest in the United States. International students can also take professional programs, such as Global Business Management.
Despite UC Riverside Extension's large size, pride is taken in the individual attention given to students and the institution's dedication to serving the community's changing needs. Many classes are offered at night and on weekends to accommodate busy schedules. Custom-designed courses are also presented at employers' work sites.
