Our aim is to provide useful services to all elements of the cottage holiday industry: - the holidaymaker, the cottage owner, and the smaller cottage agency.
The first robot was launched in January 2002, and is there to provide holidaymakers with a single form which they can use to find a perfect holiday, precisely suiting their needs. We will then manually find a selection of holidays for the holidaymaker (from our large off line database of owners and agencies). If one of the selections is suitable, then we will assist the holidaymaker in arranging the booking.
UKCottages.com provides a free listing service for cottage owners. Owners can have a detailed web page on an individual cottage basis within minutes. When this online database has grown sufficiently, we will be introducing other 'robots' which find holidays for people based upon the online data. This will obviously be less flexible, but much quicker than the first holiday robot. There is a place for both types of robot.
