- Since its inception in 1946, Universal Exhibits has been known for its quality, integrity and creativity in design, fabrication, and customer service. Originally known as "Floats, Inc.," the company specialized in the design and construction of floats for the Tournament of Roses event. In 1948, UE entered the exhibition field, and in the ensuing ten years became one of the leading exhibit builders in the western United States, growing in depth and expertise with the dramatic emergence of the aerospace and electronic industries in Southern California.
