- Upscale Pup began as a love story on so many levels. Founded in picturesque Colorado Springs, Colorado in the Spring of 2007, Will and Jules, a young engaged couple, decided to merge their creative entrepreneurial talents and their love of small dogs together. At the time Jules was already a bona fide dog devotee, running a well-established, thriving online dog boutique, called Happy Tails Pet Boutique. She also enjoyed being the proud mama of three spoiled and dearly loved fur kids-Fritz, Dixie Belle, and Daisy (her original inspirations for founding Happy Tails). Will was running a successful online marketing company and even though he loved dogs, he had no fur kids of his own. The pair decided that operating separate online businesses would not allow them to spend enough time together, so they founded Upscale Pup.
