The USA-1 Corvette Club began operation March of 1983. The name, USA-1, was picked for several reasons, not the least of which is the National Championship win that season by PSU football team. It also made it easy to find license plates that fit the club. USA-1 is incorporated in State College under the name of - USA One Corvette Club. Membership in the past few years has been as high as 95.
