USA WEEKEND
Online magazines are gaining more and more ground over traditional printed magazines these days. For the readers, they are easier to access and they don’t pose the problem of countless issues piling up over the years. With USAWeekend.com anything from the latest celebrity gossip to games, home improvement and even personal finance advice is just a click away. All of this is available to you on a weekly basis and you don’t even have to leave your home.
Main page
The center of the main page shows the latest news and interviews featured in that week’s issue, and on the left column you can select any of the weekly’s regular sections such as health, personal finance, games, classroom, cartoons, and many more. The site index option allows you easier access to the subcategories that you might be interested in. The back issues option is in fact an archive that helps you find articles from earlier issues of the magazine. On the lower left side of the website there is detailed information about USAWeekly, as well as links to all the local newspapers that are partners with the magazines and information about how you can contact USAWeekly’s columnists. There is also an option to purchase previous issues of the magazine online.
News
The news section at the center of the main page shows a quick run through the articles presented in the print edition and you can access the entire article with just a click of the mouse. As you open the article you find the subcategories listed at the top of the page and there is the option of returning to the top of the page at the end of each subcategory. This makes the articles very easy to access. The themes range from shopping tips from today’s hottest celebrities to interviews and reviews of the latest movie releases written by some of the best entertainment critics around.
Weekly columns
The regular columns of the magazine can be found on the left side of the main page. The topics that you can access are Celebs, where you can read about the professional as well as personal lives of Hollywood celebrities, Health, where you find tips for improving your health, Classroom, with tips for getting in to a good college, songwriting contests and learning online, Cartoons, Frame Games, Talkin’ Shop where you can order books like “Food: Your Miracle Medicine”, “Stop Aging Now” or “Talking Money” online, and many more. To make the website even more accessible there is a Site Index available to you where all the sections are structured by topic thus helping you browse the information a lot easier.
The USAWeekly website offers a good design, easy to access topics and subcategories and links to all the partner newspaper websites in all the states. All of this plus the quality of writing and the variety of subjects enhances the pleasure of reading an online magazine. USAWeekly.com gives you entertainment at its best in a user friendly electronic format.

In the November10-12 magazine on page 17 they show a picture of Old Fashioned Soft Pumpkin Cookies but no recipe was in this issue. Please E-mail me the recipe. My name is Susan Clapp at
