Hi- I live in Ann arbor, Michigan with my wife and three school age kids. We have been here since 1996. I was born and raised on Grosse Ile - I say on, because it is an island in the Detroit River just north of Lake Erie (any Grosse Ile people out there). I have lived and worked in Southeast Michigan most of my life and am familiar with many,many of the communities here.
For years I ran Pier One Imports stores and then for a long time I ran stores for Ethan Allen furniture. Places I have lived and worked in SE Michigan include, Detroit, Warren, Dearborn, Livonia, Southfield, Lincoln Park, Ann Arbor, East Lansing, Flint, Harper Woods, Birmingham, Canton, Plymouth, Sterling Heights, Grand Blanc, and more! So I know the people and places in the area - just a little bit.
I studied Urban Planning at Michigan State University. I have always been interested in architecture, housing, transportation, and related issues mostly from an economics and social perspective. I love people, working with people, and find that real estate is the perfect outlet for my blend of interests.
When I am not thinking real estate - which is almost never, I enjoy photography, bicycles and bicycling, woodworking, Internet development (not a programmer though) and of course hanging out with my family. My favorite places to go for a quick get-away are St. Joseph, MI, Sleeping Bear National Lakeshore, or any place along Lake Michigan.
