edit From Old Aaron Talk

This is a reserved WorkInProgress page as an option for my friend Aaron, who collaborates with me on the development of ExtremeOpenBusiness.

It is an invitation page for a possibly new active member of the Aboutus community.

The reason for reserving it, is given by the great number of pages, already accessible via the already existing Category:Aaron.

My thanks Fridemar. As you can see i have joined the AboutUs wiki which is certainly a different style to MeatBall. I am wondering what to do with the AaronPoeze user page in AboutUs now. Thanks also for putting in the bilink. I shall give some thought to what to put in here.

edit StenoMotion

this is copied from a personal message as requested by Fridemar. You may want to sign it Fridemar

Hi Aaron, just discovered via Aboutus a site for making our interactive reality show with fair profit sharing with the company.

They even support Flash-format, as I can see from their intro. Must test it first, if this is really true. By the way I invite you, co-developing a sign-language (called StenoMotion) for and with as many as possible co-creators, who appreciate (like myself) the deaf community.

This means, when we create interactive flash movies (in swf), they not only get subtitles, but also get rest points with NEXT buttons and of course, get incorporated body-language (StenoMotion), that helps to (learn/use/support) lip-reading.

My first sketches can be found in YouTube by searching for one of the following search terms:

  • stenomotion (by the way a domain, we could share)
  • stenografie
  • stenography
  • fridemar

Stenomotion is inspired by (German and English) stenography (and ASL) and extends (the higher levels of) stenography (that are used by stenographers in courts or parliaments) to 3d body language (actual to much more dimensions in the phase space of body movements and positions).

A subset of these body motions can be mapped into the 2D audio-space (of a screen, in which a finger tip trajectory

is mapped as follows: y (height) into frequency, x into panning, z (volume) into intensity by distance to the cam)

This way blind persons can communicate with deaf persons (computermediated) very easily and in an efficient way.

I guess, the communication speed can be much faster than normal speech, once the system is realized. I even dare to imagine, that it will be faster than reading speed.

For this goal I initiated Aboutus.org/stenowiki.

I publish this private message on your talk page, to attact collaborators in the sense of ExtremeOpenBusiness

(as soon as the disambiguation move is ready, see TedErnst talk page for my latest input).

As you possibly will be informed earlier, feel free to publish this message on your talk-page.

All the best to all of us

Fridemar PS.: Signed it with some delay, since I saw the invitation to sign it just now :) fridemar 17:10, 21 August 2008 (PDT)

edit Notes on Meatball

Hi Aaron, I left you a the following note on Meatball.

Aaron Poeze wrote: > How do I set up one of these journals?

Hi Aaron, I just hand sent you a message, but it doesnt show up. Safest kind of communication is Wiki. So I write it again.

Load the HTML file into your browser, doubleclick the entries (title, links), then edit, done. You can leave the structure intact , delete my IncomeFigures put yours in, modify, save the whole page as html with your browser as ExtremeOpenBusinessJournal-AaronPoeze-2008-007-xx

Hi Aaron, meanwhile the free demo period of E-Junkie is (nearly) over; so I stopped a potential automatic paid service. The transaction costs for small amounts by PayPal appear not fair to me. Imagine hard working wiki authors, earning perhaps 10000 US$, must pay 3500 US$ for automatic handling their transactions ... not very amusing. I thought 5 dollars a month would be a flat rate for E-Junkie. But it isn't. Now I found a publisher reseller Tradebit.com, who cuts only 15% of the author's payments. So let's test this one ... fridemar 18:58, 11 July 2008 (PDT)

Sometimes Aboutus and sometimes Meatball is not accessible, but a copy here and there keeps us in touch. fridemar 17:11, 10 July 2008 (PDT)

edit OpenDomainPortfolioWithOneTimeBuyButton

Hello Aaron,

what about placing our OpenDomainPortfolioWithOneTimeBuyButton in Aboutus now (with the info of the shared domain-ownership)? Only the domains, we want to sell get a OneTimeBuyButton, the other domains get NotAvailable of MakeOffer entries. Please make your suggestion, how to improve the table layout, taking into consideration, that the screen space for the table is restricted at Aboutus.

For additional safety we can copy the HTML-view directly into our blogs and advise our clients to use the Blog version for the real buy transaction. (Nevertheless, I believe that Aboutus.org is safe enough, because the buy-pages at the payment-provider are customized by the seller, thus reformulating exactly object, availability and price.)

Buyers can leave their comments on the resp. Aboutus.org pages. This is for testing, how it looks to insert a BuyButton
