Hi Asad, Steven Walling with the Portland Content team here. I talked with Carol from CarolTaylors.com on the phone today since Lahore is on holiday, and she liked your edits to the page. She had a few bits of feedback though, some of which I've tried to take care of myself. She'll also be emailing me some pictures to possibly upload and add to the page, I'll let you know if she does. In the mean time, here are some of her comments...

  • the thumbnail is showing an outdated version, but for some reason domaintools won't let you update it. It needs to either be fixed or removed.
  • reduce cards to 4 images (I did this), move the card personalization information to the same card section so it is more prominently featured
  • add info on their bath and body products
  • add info on their gift baskets
  • add some of the information available from the "my story" page on caroltaylors.com, probably in the beginning with the description
  • add info about gift certificates
  • make sure to mention the "buy now ship later" option several times, probably one for each different class of product
  • in the "Flower Shop" section, add an image of a flower bouquet. she'll probably give us one she wants.

Oh okay - I should have looked for an edit summary. I just went through the tours yesterday and noticed that this one was the only one with outgoing links so I took those out to help keep people clicking through the tour, and the part for software developers has never seemed like it would be useful to a broad audience. Sorry I didn't pay attention to why the tour page was changed, and that makes sense to remove duplication so we have one unified definition of a domain page. I created a new account: PostalServ. I filled in all the info I could. When I search for "postalserv" nothing is found. When I search for "postalserv.com" the page is found but when displayed the name as invalid upper and lower case letters.

Cannot find any info on why theses things are happening.

How can I fix these two issues?

Sizing / Measuring a Hiking Stick Using a walking or hiking stick, as opposed to a walking cane with handle, is very subjective and just to remind you what Llano Gorman ( www.CanesCanada.com ) states, there are as many ways to measure a hiking stick as there are stairs so*** it's really what feels good to you. Here are some guidelines, that might be helpful. • First, realize that a walking or hiking stick is moved with your wrist. In order to move it easily, your forearm needs to bend upwards from your elbow, at least slightly. For walking on flat surfaces, you could bend it up a couple of inches. i want it to• If you are hiking in the hills, the top of the stick probably needs to come up near to the top of your shoulder, which means you should grip the stick between 2" to 4" below the top of your shoulder. Having a longer stick should help when hiking, especially when you are descending. • How serious is the adventure? Remember a natural hiking stick is better that most aluminum hiking sticks in my opinion. Why? A) Its Natural .. when you think of it.. it is kind of an oxymoron using a aluminum stick that hurts the environment when disposing of it. When Natural at leased you can burn it. Use it as a stick for your garden plants. The wood can be made into many things, like pens. (If you have a lathe) these are just a few examples. B) Very strong, and can handle being either the center piece or cross piece for a lean-to / Tent if your caught in bad weather. If you remember in the Olympics one of Canada’s athletes aluminum ski poles just could not handle it and broke under the pressure. C) Can be used as a spear / weapon. I think I have fixed the problem. I couldnt figure out how to get the name James Paycheck to link to his local page. I think I got it now. However now the picture of the CASHnCHECKS web site at the top left is of the old site and it wont change to a picture of the new site. I dont know how to fix that. Hi - we are about to start editing all our aboutus.org pages as an old domain name is being referred to. We are linking to all the about us pages from our sites so I am hoping it is not a problem to link back to them.

Summary and purpose

This guide is meant as a rational and level-headed guide for the victims of Richard Scoville and the FreeSpeechStore. There are many FAQs and sites that describe Mr Scoville and his site, so this guide will not attempt to duplicate them.

Briefly, however: www.freespeechstore.com is what is known as a pay-for-libel (PFL) website. This is a relatively old scam that works like this: 

   * PFL owner writes a defamatory article about their victim and posts a summary to the website, allowing the public to see a highly insulting/salacious title and one or two sentances of the libel.
   * PFL owner then posts dozens, if not hundreds, of messages containing allegations against the victim in various newsgroups and web forums, containing the false allegations against the victim and pointing back to the PFL site "for all the details"
   * The idea is to appeal to the darker curiosity of people by teasing them to click to read more of the "dirty gossip". The user is then asked for a small fee to read more (In FreeSpeechStore's case, US$3.99)
   * The use of a small fee (Usually less than ten dollars) relies on the principal that people will think "It's only five bucks, what the heck". Multiply this by several hundred people thinking the same thing and the PFL owner now has a few thousand dollars for their efforts.
   * The PFL owner will suggest that the victim is able to remove the posts about themselves, or rebut the accusations, but these are all invariably used as "evidence" of their guilt, usually with outragious arguments to support it, in order to increase the visibility of the salacious gossip.

Keyword loading / Google Spamming as a Scoville tactic

FreeSpeechStore / Richard Scoville takes this to another step, however: He has been engaging, for several years, in what is known as "Keyword loading" or "Google Spamming" dozens of Usenet newsgroups. It works like this: 

   * He will post his false accusations to several usenet newsgroups, always using the victims name and several inflammatory and false accusations in the subject header of the post. The subject header is what is important here, as seen below.
   * Many people, thinking that they are being good samaritans, will respond to the posts, either defending the victim or insulting the PFL owner, with the intent of refuting the PFL intent. What most people invariably fail to do, however, is to change the subject line of the post.
   * The intent of Richard Scoville is to ensure that whenever someone performs a Google search for his victim's name, employer or business, that his pay-for-libel posts come up first. Given that he posts dozens of these accusations and he will get dozens or hundreds of people replying to him but not changing the subject lines, the pay-for-libel subject header appears as the first dozen or several dozen search results.
   * Even if the person doing the search does not click through to the articles themselves, Richard Scoville's intent is still successful: To expose the reader to his libellous accusations in the subject headers, which is what Google always returns in their search results listing.

If you are attacked / targeted by Richard Scoville, here are the steps you should take to ensure minimum disruption: 

  1. Contact your ISP and explain the situation to them: Ask them, while on the phone, to simply Google for the term "freespeechstore" in order to first establish context. This is important, so that the person you are speaking with does not feel that this is solely a matter of your opinion. A Google search very quickly reveals that "freespeechstore" is both a pay-for-libel website, as well as an individual who's modus operundi is to attempt to cancel the internet and usenet accounts of those he disagrees with.
  2. Ask your ISP to put a note on your account showing that you are the victim/target of a pay-for-libel website owner. This is simply to avoid some over-zealous tech support or abuse-desk operator from suspending your account without first checking the facts.
  3. If you are a website owner/operator, do the same thing with your web host: This will save you a lot of time.
  4. If you can help it, do not respond to Richard Scoville or FreeSpeechStore posts: He will simply use it as fuel for further libel attacks. (If you do respond, see the "tips on replying to Scoville", below)

If you must reply to Richard Scoville / FreeSpeechStore

The first best method is not to reply at all, but to forward his post, including full headers, to: His ISP, his news service provider (usually google, but often AOL) and his web host provider

Remember that replying to Scoville's posts merely serves his purpose in extending the life of his pay-for-libel attacks and increasing the google rankings of his attacks. That being said; If you are going to reply to him: Tips on replying to Richard Scoville / Freespeechstore 

   * Change the subject line: Remove your name/company and his accusations. Usually, chaging it to "Re: Another FreeSpeechStore/Richard Scoville attack" is both sufficient and accurate.
   * Snip/delete the bulk of his content, especially the names, email addresses and "keyword lists" from his post before replying. Again, quoting these only furthers his goals of smearing you or the victim you think you are helping by responding to defend
   * Keep your response short, to-the-point, accurate and professional. Sinking to simple name-calling makes you look as bad as he does.

Remember, though: The best tactic is to ignore him. As many experts will tell you "Feeding the trolls is hazardous to your health"

One more reminder: Richard Scoville has threatened hundreds of people with lawsuits and very, very rarely follows through with them. When he does, he loses. His most recent courtroom attack was against ahbl.org, which was thrown out of court for lack of jurisdiction. He has sued the Wall Street Journal and lost, costing him roughly US$800,000 in damages and has been the defendant in more than a dozen court cases in his home town of San Antonio, Texas. could u tell me how to use google docs to store work documents so that admin folks for my nonprofit can access my documents for the organization, work on them, share and circulate with other internal managers, so we can edit and refine them, then publish. I would like all work related to our documents to be available to an inner circle to access, so they do not have to search their emails and then circulate. Also, it will enable me to see progress on various tasks that need priority. I also want to be able to file these documents into topical categories in this archive on googledocs so they can be found easily after filing with a link on our website password protected to allow only certain managers access. I do not want them to be able to destroy original drafts so I can always see those. Is this something Googledocs can do for our nonprofit website managers so all work is filed and located in one secure place accessible only to innercircle of my organization and not to members?

Now when i search that on google the search results display definition of the word decongestion but no good links which i would add up on the aboutus page.
