edit thanks for the reviews
Hello and thank you for the reviews you have added to wiki pages. If you are adding text that is a review of a company or website, please add it to the Community Review section below: Additional Information, just click edit and add the review, you might need to add the section as well. best, Kasey 12:11, 9 April 2007 (PDT)
Hi again! to make a header just bracket the words Community Reviews by ==, thanks for all the good work! Kasey 14:20, 12 April 2007 (PDT)
edit Hello
It's great that you are contributing reviews to AboutUs.org and helping to build the commons, but I did notice a change you made to Undzwach.com in which you changed the words and thus meaning of the description section to make it a review of sorts, but a misleading description section. Reviews need to be kept to the "community reviews" section - reviews elsewhere will be reverted. Keep up the good work and have a great day!
Hi, I added a category to your PersonalPage. Please revert if you would like. Nice work, btw! Best, MarkDilley
edit Hello
Hey Miyuki, Thanks for all your great reviews- ran across this one today and was curious why you deleted it: [1] Please let me know if you ever need any help, and thanks again for being such a great contributor. Isabel 13:05, 9 May 2007 (PDT)
Great- I figured you did it on purpose but just wanted to check. Thanks again for all your great work! Isabel

- Just a reminder to follow CommunityReviewsFormatting. Thanks.
- KristinaWeis | **talk** 17:59, 4 June 2007 (PDT)
Sorry: I entered the sonyjobjapan.com information first thing in the morning and forgot to put in the "Community Review" formatting. Also, I have been a bit upset about a friend's death from leukemia over the weekend. I have since entered the "Community Review" formatting. I noticed that etouf.com and mvkm.com are also on the list for needing "Community Review" formatting; but when I checked the respective pages, the "Community Review" sections were there. Miyuki
- I am so sorry to hear that. I'm glad I noticed the message you left me, I wasn't alerted since the message is on your talk page and not mine. No, that's fine... I just wanted to remind you in case you forgot. It's not big deal, you're certainly making constructive edits here. Have a great day - I hope you feel better.

edit Signature
I think I neglected to tell you this, but you can sign your username (that also links to your PersonalPage) with a timestamp by leaving four tildas (~). Do you think you could use this feature to sign your community reviews? KristinaWeis 03:53, 5 July 2007 (PDT) (<--I just used it here)
edit Review of DiCtHoUse.com
Hi Miyuki, I have moved your review from additional information to community reviews. It's also a good idea to keep the review informative (as most of yours is) and not make personal attacks. It's better not to call someone a scumbag even if you feel he/she is. I have replaced scumbag with the word person. The rest of your review is the same. Tanwir Shah
edit Related Domains and Categories
When adding a "Related Domains" section it should look like this so that they link properly to the DomainPages.
- ==Related Domains==
- <WikiPages>
- NameOfWebSite.com
- Website.com
- </WikiPages>
Also, category tags still need to look like this, [[Category:Adult Content]], so that they link properly. Let me know if you have any questions, and great work on the wiki! KristinaWeis
- You can take a look at LoveRxAm.com to see how I formatted the related domains section and added an example category. KristinaWeis
edit PossibleAdultContent
You may have noticed the little red flag that is on all DomainPages. This is the new and easier way that you can "flag" pages as adult content, so please use this instead of the category tags in the future. Let me know if you have any questions, and see PossibleAdultContent for more details. KristinaWeis 14:41, 9 August 2007 (PDT)
edit Category tags
Simply adding "category: adult content" does NOT actually add the page to that category. It must be formatted like this so that it links: Category:PossibleAdultContent. I have fixed many of these category tags for you, but it would be great if you could learn to do so. Also, we now have a flag feature in the top right of every page which does this accurately and simply - please use this "flag" feature to flag pages as adult content instead of trying to add categories to do this. Using the "flag" feature will automatically make it so that every user attempting to visit that page will get warning message and must check yes (assuming that they have a user account) to view the page. KristinaWeis 20:42, 9 August 2007 (PDT)
Hello, the categories go inside brackets ([ ]) rather than squiggly brackets ({ }) and there are not spaces between the words (PossibleAdultContent rather than Possible Adult Content), but really it would be much better to use the "flag" option in the upper right please. KristinaWeis 21:38, 9 August 2007 (PDT)
Also, if you are working on the related domains section the first wikipages tag looks like this <WikiPages> and the second needs to have the slash before like this </WikiPages> for it to work properly. KristinaWeis 21:51, 9 August 2007 (PDT)
Great work on using the flag function to note pages as PossibleAdultContent - you've got it :) KristinaWeis 23:45, 15 August 2007 (PDT)
edit Hi and thanks
Just wanted to say thank you for all of your work, thanks for always adding the Community Review tag. Great job, we appreciate it! Kasey 07:40, 5 September 2007 (PDT)
edit Spam site template
Hey Miyuki! Just wanted to drop by and say what a great job you're doing cleaning up the AboutUs wikipages. I noticed that you were entering Template:Spammer's site as the template to tag spam sites. Now I just found this out myself, but the template is actually written as/called {{PossibleSpamSite}}. As you can see, Template:Spammer's site appears in red because the template doesn't exist. I've changed most of these tags to the proper template now and thought I'd let you know in case you find other spam sites that you want to tag. :) Once again, you're doing the community a great service and it's a pleasure having you as a member. edit Checking in
Hi Miyuki, I just wanted to say thanks again for all your help in reviewing websites- you've done a great job and I hope you continue. It's been a while since I've been in touch with you, so please let me know if you need help with anything. Isabel 15:16, 6 September 2007 (PDT)
edit Hey Miyuki
I just was going through some of your contributions! nice work! It seems you are definately a activemember.. Perhaps you would right a small review of my site The Evolution of Thought Institute as I would love some of your constructive criticism! Thanks alot hope to chat with you sometime.. perhaps you may be interested in starting a portal! take a look at Portal:Entrepreneur Education I really had alot of fun creating it and if you have some ideas for a new one I wouldnt mind helping you set it all up! alright have a good one~!--DaughertyBw 20:22, 6 September 2007 (PDT)
Thanks for the kind words, Krisina, Isabel, Daugherty. I see that the pages for the mailsex-mailsex.org.uk and sokuhame-99.org.uk spam-veritized sites I took the time to have created a few day ago are slated for deletion, even though both domains exist and have been spamming as recently as this week. If these are deleted for no good reason, I seriously doubt that I will ever post here again. Miyuki 23:30, 6 September 2007 (PDT)
edit Domain Page Boilerplates
Hi Miyuki- As a side note, none of the staff here would delete pages just because they are created by hand and may not have all the headers that bot created pages do. It would be nice if you could add the DomainPageBoilerplate to them, but not necessary if you don't have the time. It's possible I went over this with you months ago, but I wanted to reiterate that this template is available to use. Thanks, Isabel 13:23, 7 September 2007 (PDT)
edit Hello
Yes, I've seen these messages. I would hope that he would respect your wishes, in particular for the messages to stop. I think a ceasing of communications between the two of you would be the best course of action. You are both valuable contributors to AboutUs, but I think this dialogue between you is no longer constructive or healthy. Best, KristinaWeis 01:43, 16 September 2007 (PDT) (You can e-mail at
if you wish.)
- It's great to see contributions from you showing up in Recent Changes. Have a great day, and let me know if I can help with anything. KristinaWeis 17:22, 25 September 2007 (PDT)
edit flagging possible adult content
Hi Miyuki, Just a reminder about the "flag" function, for possible adult content. I highly recommend using it, after you finish adding your review and/or spam template. This way the category will show up in the preferred spot and formatted so that it functions correctly. Please let me know if you need any help with this or anything else. peace, TedErnst | talk 17:59, 29 September 2007 (PDT)
- I believe I flag almost everything I view as "possbile adult content," although, being a mere human being, I may sometimes forget. If you are referring to some specific case in which I have forgotten, please specify it.
Actually I don't like the euphemistic term "possible adult content." To mećTolstoy and James Joyce, for example, are "adult content." I would prefer to call pornography or smut by their real names, but I have as much as possible been following wikipedia's directions about this matter. Miyuki 18:09, 29 September 2007 (PDT)
- I don't have any specifics in front of me. I came across a couple that had {{PossibleAdultContent}} on them. Not a big deal, it's just easier to use the flag function, in my opinion. Your reviews and marking of pages definitely makes this place better, no question. I'm not meaning to say anything other than an easier way.
- And as for euphemisms, not sure what to say about that one, in a wiki environment. The community has to have a way to decide about these things, and the AdultContentPolicy is what we have now. If you'd like to propose changes to it, let's talk about that, okay? TedErnst | talk 18:20, 29 September 2007 (PDT)
Ted, I was only stating my own personal taste about the euphemistic (to me) "possible adult content." I realize that issue has been settled by consensus by the wiki staff, and I have no bones with that. Miyuki 18:28, 29 September 2007 (PDT)
- It wasn't only the staff that came to consensus on the policy, it was also the community. In fact, we had more community members involved than staff. And it's a wiki, so if things need to change, they can change. Or we can drop it. Either way is okay with me. I just wanted you to know that it is possible to change things, if need be. TedErnst | talk 18:34, 29 September 2007 (PDT)
Ted, That was my simple misunderstanding whether it was a staff or community decision. I really don't have a big issue with the majority's desire to flag things as "possible adult content," even though my own inclination would be to call pornography or smut by what they really are. The reason I started posting here in the first place, despite my very busy schedule, is because I felt the mostly smutty Japanese spam-veritized sites with an aboutus page (which I discovered on samspade.org when trying to trace the origin of spam) ought to be exposed for what they really are. I'm not a prude, but most of the Japanese spam is so disgusting. Miyuki 19:22, 29 September 2007 (PDT)
- I thnk it's great what your'e doing with the spam sites. peace, TedErnst | talk 16:02, 30 September 2007 (PDT)
I agree with your latest suggestion to me. Miyuki 16:40, 30 September 2007 (PDT)
edit Thank you.
Thank you. TedErnst | talk 17:08, 30 September 2007 (PDT)
You're very welcome. Miyuki 18:09, 30 September 2007 (PDT)
edit WikiLink
Hey Miyuki, do you think it makes sense to WikiLink in your community reviews? I am a bit of a WikiLink] fanatic, so I am not sure with these sites. Here is an example, please revert if you want. [2] Best, MarkDilley
Frankly, I am not quite sure what you mean. These sites are all linked, because several of them have sent me the exact same message, or else many of them use the exact same "unsubscribe" address (
). Also, several of them are either registered at the same phony address or with the same telephone number. This is all part of Japan's leading "deai-kei" spam/one-click fraud group, awg/youngjo le. Best wishes for the new year, Miyuki
edit Nice work on flaging the malware porn site
Please keep it up. Igorberger 06:58, 26 December 2007 (PST)
