edit Re: Heya!
That's great, I'm glad you like it here :)
You've certainly worked on wikis before, yes? And I definitely know what you mean, I used to a copy editor and loved it but couldn't bring myself to write much of anything. I don't know if you're interested, but you could work towards becoming a featured page on the homepage. Best, Kristina | **talk** 13:49, 14 November 2007 (PST)
- Oh sweet, you can see mine as a fluffy example if you like (User:KristinaWeis) but the idea is simply to introduce yourself to the community and make it whatever you like about yourself. Best, Kristina | **talk** 14:32, 14 November 2007 (PST)
- Not that it matters at all, but if you're interested there is a Template:ComingSoon for some of those Special:Longpages as well. (Oh, and sorry I had to abruptly leave earlier.) Best, Kristina | **talk** 19:45, 16 November 2007 (PST)

- Thanks mate. I am as well. I just set up a hidden forum system again to conduct reviews on, talk to other active members, preview BETA content, take polls, etc. I am not bothering renewing my vB license so using MyBB for now (I would've used PHPBB3 but their admin panel is slow).

- Have you checked out Joomla and Fireboard, they may provide you with a free easy to admin and highly customizable solution for your site.
- My CMS I use is custom coded. I used Joomla in the past but they're support wasn't so good. To think of it I think I like/prefer the custom CMS now.

Not sure if we have a clear list, but lots of screenshots need to be re-done. Will you have time to look through them while you're online before going offline. If not, I could make a list. I would start by going through all 3 WikiAnatomy tours and seeing which images are out of date. Let me know if you need me to make you the list?

edit uberpatrol
Hi Nick,
It's not really a public-consumption sort of tool, at this point, and reporting problems isn't going to get anything done. I have a whole huge list of things I'd like to change with UberPatrol.
Right now all dev resources are going to CompostUs. And we could use your help with that, if you're up for working with software that's somewhat broken. You can go to http://compostus.aboutus.org and log in, then do what you'd normally do. All edits are live on the regular site, just through the new software instead of the old. When you run into problems, please report them at CompostUsBugs.
And as for UberPatrol, we'll have to get back to that one once Compost is up on the live site. By the way, I cannot use UberPatrol with Safari either. I found double-browser works with Firefox and Flock (a Firefox derivative) :-)
Hope all is well!
peace, TedErnst (talk) 12:52, 12 March 2008 (PDT)
edit no problemo!
We are trying out the new active community rights - basically means that you don't need patrolling for spam! :-) Wondering what we will do with Sysop status overall - but we can think about that another day! ~~ MarkDilley

edit Contest
Hi, great work on AboutUsContest an excellent idea. I made an edit to the opening text trying to clarify the objective and role of AboutUs. Feel free to edit me as needed. I think to get folks involved, the page describing the contest, guidelines et al. should be as easy to read and understand as possible. The description seems to put a premium on design, how do you envision this working out in the weeks ahead? thanks, Kasey

edit FreeResumes.com
Hey Nick, could you take a look at the history of that page. You made an edit that seemed to be trying to revert a mis-placed edit, but it didn't work. Just wanted to check in about that, as the roll-to feature is a bit strange, until you get used to it. If you simply click roll-to, it rolls to the current version, which isn't what you want. You have to click the correct "diff" on the right column of uberpatrol and then click "roll-to". Come on IRC when you have a chance and I (or someone else as I'm in Lahore now) can show you more, okay? peace, TedErnst (talk) 20:35, 7 January 2008 (PST)

Well, be warned that the question you asked will cause you to have to read. And by read, I mean read read.
Well I just got the grade transcripts from one of my previous schools and submitted it to my local community college to try to get in as a full-time student; I have yet to receive a yes or a no this week.
There was a Flash Flood Watch and some heavy rain where I live, but it went away. However, it's going up to the northwest (not only CA), so Oregon and Washington, watch out!
