edit automated changes?

it seems you're all hell bent about adding alexa and whois to every domain. did you know alexa only ranks pages based on stats only from PEOPLE WHO USE THEIR TOOLBAR? hardly an authoritative figure in anyone's book. i would think google or yahoo toolbar has a far better gaussian distribution, if only they were in the ranking business... oh wait, they are..

also, what is NOTOC i thought maybe by deleting that, you'd stop puking all over the sites i am watching with the alexa/whois drivel. it's just page spam. oh wait, this isn't wikipedia, it's a whored out commercial wannabe directory with ads all over each page. sorry for caring.

FYI Vartan, if people remove the Alexa or WhoIs links, that's okay. Best not to get into an edit war over this. If someone blanking a whole page, that's different, but for individual sections, we generally let it go. Your thoughts? peace, TedErnst | talk 08:06, 27 October 2007 (PDT)

Oh, okay. I saw the links as tools for the DomainPage which shouldn't be removed as they were necessary - didn't know they were an optional feature.
