About Visage Medical Skin Care
Visage Medical Skin Care is the name of medical practice specializing in cosmetic medicine owned and directed by Joel G. Caschette, M.D. There are two offices for Visage Medical Skin Care; one is in Cape Coral, Florida, and the second is in Fort Myers, Florida. Although the main office is in Cape Coral and began accepting patients in August 2006, the first office to open was in Fort Myers in January 2006. The Fort Myers office is located inside Gulf Coast Women's Care Center.
Multiple lasers are used for cosmetic medicine treatments in this practice. These include the Fraxel® laser for skin resurfacing, laser hair removal with the Ascelpion Medistar XT diode laser, and laser acne treatment with the Quantel Aramis II Erbium Glass laser.
Visage Medical Skin Care offers injectable therapy for anti aging purposes. As of June of 2007, Visage Medical Skin Care offers the only doctor performed Lipodissolve™ treatments in Lee County, Florida. Other injectable treatments include Botox® Cosmetic, and skin fillers, including Cosmoderm®, Restylane®, Perlane® and Juvederm®.
Medical grade microdermabrasion and chemical peels to are used to supplement anti aging skin care therapy. Intense pulsed light, also referred to as a Photo Facial, improves sun damage, including skin pigmentation (commonly known as sun spots) and telangectasias (commonly called broken capillaries).
Visage Medical Skin Care uses multiple treatment methods to treat acne. The Quantel Aramis II is designed to decrease the size of sebaceous glands, which produce sebum that contributes to acne formation. Other treatments for acne include microdermabrasion, chemical peels, prescription medication, and skin care products for daily home use.
Visage Medical Skin Care offers personal consultations with Dr. Caschette to determine the appropriate therapy required for a patient's needs.
