The new exhibit was Grossology, where kids are taught what makes them burp, vomit, or what’s in the green stuff that comes out of their noses. Generally, my girls just wanted to do the crafts (yes!). Grandpa Mark had the day off, too, so he joined us for the adventure. This is the first time in a long time that I’ve had to pay admission, because we gave up our museum membership; the girls seemed to be a little old for most of the play-time displays now. It’s still a wonderful place to take children of all ages, so I’m glad we decided to do that. We had a good time sticking our hands into boxes and trying to figure out what body part was in there (ears, fingers, guts, just like the Halloween game we all played as kids). And making crowns and wizard wands.
