- I was born and raised in Texas. I attended Abilene Christian University where I earned a Bachelors Degree in Communication and a Masters in Christian Ministry and played lots of pick-up basketball.In October of 1996, I married Heather Heflin in Abilene. In January of 1997, we moved to Bellingham, Washington and worked with the Sterling Drive Church until December of 2002. In February of 2003 we moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma to work with the Garnett Church of Christ.
