- I’ve had my fiction and non-fiction published in a variety of online and print publications, including Millennium Science Fiction and Fantasy, Internet Business Forum, Lawbooks.com, UCC Bulletin, Norton’s Bankruptcy Adviser, and more. My fantasy screenplay, “Cold Iron,” was a quarterfinalist in the 2000 and 2002 Nicholl Screenwriting Competition (sponsored by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences), and was also in the “top ten percent” of screenplays in the 2000 Austin Heart of Film screenplay competition. Another script, “The Treasure of the Whydah,” was a semifinalist in the 2003 Scriptapalooza competition and a quarterfinalist in a number of other competitions, including the Final Draft Big Break contest, the Creative Screenwriting/Screenwriting Expo contest, and the Texas Film Institute contest. These results have led to “reads” by various agents, managers, and producers, but nothing more to date.
