REVIEW OF WEIGH DOWN WORKSHOP
Most diet and weight loss programs base their marketing plans on the promotion of a new technology, a unique ingredient, or another similar breakthrough. This site states that the failure associated with many diets often leads to overeating as a way to cope with feelings of failure. Gwen Shamblin’s Weigh Down Workshop claims to be able to help people turn to their Creator for help. It is promoted as a ministry that is intent on fighting the plague of obesity that has set upon this county. Gwen Shamblin’s Weigh Down Workshop claims not to be a diet, but rather a total life change. It claims to be able to totally eliminate the desire to overeat without the use of supplements, simply by making you overcome these desires with your faith. It promises to strengthen your relationship with your god to the point that you need not seek comfort in food.

REVIEW OF Weigh Down Workshop
The Weigh Down Workshop claims to be able to help you lose weight without dieting, exercise, or having to avoid your favorite foods. The workshop’s first pillar is physical and it says that you should only eat when you are hungry, and stop eating before you experience a feeling of fullness. It claims to be able to awaken your internal hunger mechanism which makes your body make you stop eating at a natural point without having to consciously make this effort. The basis of this principle is for you to rely on your bodies’ God given ability to let you know when you are hungry and when you are full. It is claimed as an ongoing lifestyle change that extends well beyond the workshop that you attend.
