We are doll collectors who love to create unique doll clothes for doll lovers of all ages. Our specialty is the My Twinn doll, but we do create fashions for other dolls, such as the popular 18-inch size dolls like American Girl. For the last five years, we have been selling our doll clothes in a number of craft mall locations around the United States and now on the Internet.
The inspiration for this business came when our owner and president, Cindy Wildman, took classes on porcelain doll making. She enjoyed bringing a doll to life, from cleaning and firing greenware to painting the features on the doll faces. But the real fun was in creating the clothes the finished doll would wear.
However, when sewing doll clothes from commercially available patterns, Cindy found that the finished garment often did not fit the doll for which it was intended. She also had disappointing results when sewing for the fashion and play dolls she had started to collect. This led Cindy to teach herself to draft patterns from the measurements of each individual doll. Convinced that other doll collectors had the same problem creating wardrobes for their dolls, Cindy started Wee World Wonders to create a line of doll clothes tailored to fit each specific doll.
