- In the early 1990’s, Jay became interested in the craft beer movement and started homebrewing in 1995. He became seriously involved in small scale brewing in 2002. Since then Jay has received more than 40 awards for his beer at competitions locally and across the nation, even winning medals in the prestigious National Homebrew Competition in 2003 and 2005.
