About Internet WorkShop
Internet WorkShop is a family-owned software development and web hosting company now based in Pasadena, California. Founded in 1995 in Tucson, Arizona, we took over maintenance and development of Webglimpse and Glimpse in 1997 from Udi Manber at the University of Arizona.
We believe in many aspects of open source development, except that we think the funding for development work should come directly from users of the software. We'd like to make it possible for more developers to work directly on code without the overhead of a large corporation. See our suggestion for an alternative licensing model we call PPL licensing.
