Visitors can browse through our craft mall while crafters can open up a booth, store, or list their website! Open a booth for less than what you would pay in a weekend! This mall is a place for crafters to sell their crafts and a place for visitors to come to shop for crafters creations. Visitors browse for free and can browse any crafter's booth or storefront at any time - day or night.
There are also links outside of Wendy's Craft Mall that will take you to the crafter's personal homepage if they have one. You don't have to right click on the link because it automatically will open up into its own window for convennience sake.
Visitors can enjoy the convenience of visiting a mall without the hassle of being in an outside environment. There is no worrying about parking, paying for a hotel room if you are coming out of town, and paying for meals. There is no worrying about gas (with the price these days, it's unreal!), and the fact that you may be out in the sun for several hours. The same applies for an inside craft fair with the exception of the sun.
By giving your customers a way to view your products in their own home, gives them the advantage. They can shop when they want - and they may even purchase more because they are so relaxed. It is also very convenient for them as well. They can shop at any time - day or night. They don't have to worry about getting dressed, wonder who will watch the kids, and calling in sick for work to miss a craft show - come on, we've all done it!
The main reason though behind creating Wendy's Craft Mall was to make it affordable for crafters to sell their crafts. Let's face it, we have unfortunately all had the same problem - pay for a craft booth at a craft show or fair and come home with almost no profits if any. Some of us have just broken even for the cost of the booth, while othershave not even sold anything. It's really sad too because you put so much time and energy, love and creation, into your craft, and no one seems to be interested.
