Description
A native of Florida, Captain Kirk has fished these coastal waters most of his life. Growing up in Southwest Florida, he learned his techniques while fishing for Red Fish, Snook, Trout, Bone Fish and Permit in the bays, harbors and inland waterways.
In 1988, Captain Kirk gained employment with the North Fort Myers Fire Department, which brought him to the West Coast of Florida. After a couple of years of fishing and learning the waters, Kirk decided to fish professionally, and West Coast Fishing Charters was established.
Captain Kirk is well known for his technique, patience and ability to teach even the youngest of fishermen. He is asked to be guest speaker at many boat shows, sport shows and training camps each year. He has made guest appearances on several top fishing programs i.e. TNN Great Outdoors, Young America Outdoors, etc. and currently is the host of the "Tech-Know Angler" fishing show. Captain Kirk has donated his time and knowledge throughout the years with several charitable organizations such as the Veterans of War, Big Brothers Big Sisters and Internationally the Make A Wish Foundation just to name a few.
