Our mission is to fulfill God's Great Commission by making disciples of Jesus Christ (Matt. 28:19,20) and to fulfill God's Greatest Commandment by loving God with all our heart, soul and mind and by loving our neighbors as ourselves.
Our History
The group of believers now known as the Wethersfield Evangelical Free Church was organized October 5, 1888. We are affiliated with the Evangelical Free Church of America. For 55 years the church was located on Benton Street in Hartford until moving to its present location in Wethersfield in 1961. A long-awaited expansion of our facilities (a Christian Education wing) was completed in early 1999, the first of three phases of expanding our facility.
