Description
The White Rose had its meager beginnings in the Corvallis, Oregon garage of co-owner Jim Somppi in September of 1983. Within a very short time Jim knew that he wanted to legitimize his business and moved into a retail store front location in Corvallis. When the lease was up on that space, this was also the time that Jim Schulte joined forces with The White Rose. Together they moved the business a few miles to the historic district of Downtown Albany, Oregon.
The White Rose has been in its present location since 1995. With over 2000 square feet, The White Rose is the areas largest retail florist. On a regular basis The White Rose can offer over 50 varieties of fresh flowers to its customers. As well, we have a large assortment of green and blooming plants, artificial and preserved floral wall pieces and arrangements, balloons and plush animals, and a full range of gift items. Another feature of The White Rose, we can put together custom gourmet and fruit baskets to your specifications.
Owners Jim Schulte and Jim Somppi (who are cousins) were both raised in the Mid-Willamette Valley. They are Linn County Pioneer descendants and are very proud of their heritage.
