I, like millions of others on this planet, am adopted. Since the age of 15 or so, I have wondered about my origins. There are probably many aspects to being adopted that non-adoptees have never thought about. There is an entire movement of adoptees who are focused on overturning archaic, unfair, and ill-conceived laws in order to allow all adult adoptees access to information about their origins.
