The son of a civil engineer who practiced primarily in soils and foundations, Fred was raised in the world of soils and foundations and inspections. Fred began working on foundation construction and leveling crews at the age of eight. At the age of fourteen, Fred performed his first structural and foundation inspection. His father founded the third company in the State of Texas that performed real estate inspections. Fred has performed inspections since the age of fourteen including the years he spent at Texas A and M University where he obtained a degree in Civil Engineering.
