Description

WinCup products effectively combine many convenient advantages. They are sanitary, insulated, disposable and lightweight, making it very easy to handle. This alleviates many hygienic concerns in hospitals and schools. It also saves on the use of water, detergent and expensive dishwashing equipment in areas such as schools and restaurants.

The foam manufacturing process begins with expandable polystyrene beads (EPS), pre-expanded by steam and air to several times their original size. The beads go into cup machine molds and are fused by steam to form cups. Having been cooled by a water jacket and removed from the molds, the cups move along a conveyor and are automatically tested, stacked and placed in cartons. Foam products are well-adapted to custom printing. They can be printed by direct embossing or offset with any design or names in full color.

Lids for foam cups are manufactured in an extrusion and thermoform process utilizing HIPS for raw material. HIPS is extruded in a continuous plastic sheet which is fed into a thermoformer to be formed into the finished lid.
