Wyatts Butchers - your traditional family butcher

We have been established for well over 100 years, in which time we have built up an excellent reputation as a traditional family butcher and in recent years, suppliers to the catering trade. We can advise on the cut of meat most suitable for the dish you wish to cook as well as jointing meat especially to your requirements - for example, butterflying a leg of lamb, crown roasts, boning a joint, etc. We value our reputation and are here to please.

Our beef is all from prime Aberdeen Angus cattle. It is delivered weekly, direct from Inverurie, Scotland (we are approved by Quality Meat Scotland). Our lamb is from the Welsh Hills and Devonshire (depending on availability) as well as from New Zealand. Our pork is traditional burnt pork from Wiltshire which has a superb flavour. Burnt pork is where the bristles are burnt off in the traditional manner, (rather than being boiled off as is the norm now) which results in excellent crackling!

We sell game in season - feathered and furred. Fresh fish is sold on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Speciality meats such as kangaroo, goat, ostrich and alligator tails are available to order. We also make our own sausages on the premises and there are many flavours to choose from.
