About Xboxyde
Xboxyde is specialized in Xbox and Xbox 360 games medias. Our goal is to offer as much images and videos of the games, with the best quality possible.
Our main subject is of the Xbox and Xbox360, but we always try to keep in mind that the other consoles exist and try to encourage our members to discuss what's happening on other systems. It's not always easy !
Xboxyde was started in September 2003, just in time for X03 where SnakeX had the chance to be invited. At that time I had a lot of free bandwidth available so I just had the idea to start a site where I could host the videos he would do there with my brother's camcorder. One week later the site was up and running, using the code base from another site I had developed. The site opened just in time and instantly got some exclusive content from the show floor, especially a very popular and exclusive video of Halo 2. This video and a few others became so popular that I started getting a lot of complaints about the site's language. So I started working on an english version and a few weeks later everything was translated and all the new content was done in the two languages. A few months later Manager contacted me about a swedish version that was put online very quickly afterwards. Parts of the site are also translated in japanese, and German and Dutch version are being worked on.
