So someone pointed out that nearly every one of the news posts here is some seeming disaster or other. Of course, most of them are spaced out by months. Things really do run pretty well around here most of the time, but in order to not frighten off potential newcomers, I'm going to occasionally post these non-problem reports. :-) Don't worry, I'm posting them at low priority, so if you have a site here, and the newsbox set to critical news only, it won't show up and "pollute" your site.

Due to a security bug, I had to upgrade MySQL today. Unfortunantly, the upgrade changed a library that PHP depended on, taking it out of commission for a couple hours until it too could be rebuilt. Things should be up/running now. See the forum for details.
