Description
The Xume website is an example of a corporate website developed with Java™ technology and various open source products. This enabled Xume to develop a manageable website without having to invest heavily in software.
The website was developed by various parties (back-end, front-end, graphic design and copywriting) working in different locations. The back-end was produced by Xume. An online environment was set up for external suppliers, enabling them to log into the central server and work remotely on the Xume site. The general state of progress was managed by an issue tracking system.
The Xume website was developed using XP (eXtreme Programming). Due to regular feedback on the work carried out, the website could be implemented in its entirety in a short period of time.
