The Yorkshire branch of the "Drinking Club with a Running Problem"
For the uninitiated "hashing" is trail based running (a game called "Hare and Hounds" for the oldies). Runners follow a trail laid in flour, chalk etc. It is non-competitive and in most cases (including YH3) is suitable for all ages and abilities. Trails consist of false trails, checkpoints, waiting points, etc. which occupy fitter runners and allow slower runners and walkers to catch up. Everyone should start and finish roughly at the same time, with the fitter possibly having gone twice as far!
YH3 is based mainly in the Leeds/Bradford area, we run alternate Monday evenings and Sunday mornings. Sunday runs start at 11:00, Monday at 19:30.
Runs almost invariably start and finish at a pub. Join us for a run and a few drinks. All are very welcome. Just turn up, no need to forewarn us.
